Have you ever dreamed about combining all your fondest memories into a physical place? Let’s collaborate on a piece of art that holds your story.
COMMISSION PROCESS
First, you will have a reason for the commission. You may wish to commission a piece as a gift. You may have a special occasion, a location that needs an installation, or a place or object you wish to memorialize in a distinct work of art. There are many reasons, all equally valid, but they inform the process. We’ll meet together so that I can learn what it is you desire most out of your commission- what drives you to request a piece of art be created?
Once we’ve completed this discovery together, you’ll receive a contract that describes the piece in terms of size, media, and cost. Before I begin the actual piece, I will provide you with some conceptual ideation around the idea of your commission, sending it to you digitally for you to review at your convenience. This is a time for feedback. Although I am the artist, I do want to create something you will love always, so your input is valid and vital.
Finally, the artwork begins, and when the piece is ready, it will be delivered to you and if you desire, for a cost, I will install it for you professionally and with great care, in a place you’ve chosen.
Payment Guidelines
I require a 50% deposit to secure a spot on the commission list, and the full balance, including shipping, is due upon completion.
Mixed media includes paint, ink, charcoal, enamel, resin, tape, collage, minerals, and selected materials.
Final pricing will depend on several factors, including materials and number of subjects, framing, and delivery.
